Prison Letters: A roman cell

A 200yearold basement on the Hudson with an original stone foundation was the location chosen to film this Roman jail scene. After researching the period and other film scenes, the process required combing through local prop houses, thrift stores and garden supply retailers, a table, stool, copper bowls, clay ink to establish the look that the director and DP envisioned. A custom jail cell wall was built as well to add to the production design

hospital scene

An abandoned nursery became a hospital room for this four part episodic show.
After researching props, hospital rooms, color schemes, and the reviewing the script; The process of design, propping and set dressing took over 3 days to
prepare for shooting these scenes.

science classroom set

We started with an abandoned science classroom that was already filled with colors, books, skeletons and a few other living creatures. And then we went to work cleaning, adding custom props and reorganizing sections by colors to create this very visual scene.
