fabrication & installation
Immersive Installation
The owner of this new restaurant in Santo Domingo wanted to create an immersive experience that was unique to any space in the Dominican Republic…in the washroom. To highlight the chandelier, falling faux branches of willow and bear grass fell over and around the chandelier with a garden wall of bougainvillea cascading over the washing area.
Custom Fabrication
The project request was to create a sign encasing that could be changed throughout the year with customized graphics. After an extensive process of reviewing placement locations and designs, two custom pieces with changeable graphics panels were fabricated. These 10 ft. x 3 ft. sign casings were installed 20 feet above the bottom of the building and onto the facade of a 100–year–old solid brick exterior.
2 blessed to be stressed
We built this set inside a 110–year–old cathedral, in a choir loft ,and over a pipe organ. The set had to be secure and safe. It was a complicated process that required meticulous planning due to the engineering , logistical, and physical challenges of the location. The end result was a seemingly floating set that provided viewers with a new and unique perspective of a familiar sacred space.
floral production design
This broadcast network had a problem to solve for their live services. Every shot revealed an empty cathedral and a bare altar. Over the course of one year, over 40 custom installations were installed. The process required reviewing camera angles, the colors of the celebrants, the season, religious holidays, and availability of products in the flower market. These vibrant and dramatic designs provided the director with camera angles filled with color and life.
